How big is alcona park campground?
Alcona Park Campground is nestled on 11,000 acres of beautiful river front land. We have 470 camping sites. In that 470 sites, 240 of those are Seasonal sites, 104 Modern sites, 40 Semi-Modern sites, 48 Full Service sites, 30 Primitive Sites & 13 Cabin rentals.
When is the earliest i can book for the upcoming season?
April 1st for walk in reservations ONLY from 8 AM – 4:30 PM. Phone lines will be disabled that day.
April 2nd the office is open 8 AM – 4:30 PM to take in person reservations, phone lines open back up & online booking begins.
are golf carts allowed?
Gas & electric golf carts are both permitted in our park. Must be 16 years old or older or a licensed driver.
Can i bring my dog?
Yes, your dog must remain under immediate control and on a leash not exceeding 6 feet long. Dogs are permitted at all campsites. But are NOT allowed on beaches, playgrounds or in the shower buildings.
Dogs are NOT allowed in the cabins or on the cabin grounds! No exceptions!
